Ingrid is the Managing Director of Knowing1 a London based counselling and coaching practice. Previous to this she held senior HR &OD leadership roles for companies such as Cap Gemini Ernst &Young where she got her first experience in a global position as the 'Global Director For Strategy And Change ' based in the US. After 20 years working in the corporate world she wanted a change so took a job with Amnesty International. She now works as a practicing psychotherapist and independent consulting psychologist. Building on her early interests and studies in human psychology she recently went back to college and completed a Diploma in Human Givens Psychology. She often writes articles and blogs about mental health issues and gives talks and seminars about human motivation, behaviours and psychological well-being, she works both with individuals and organisations.
Ingrid said, “I am passionate about the benefits to society of investing in peoples mental well-being. Feeling that you are a valued member of society or a community is crucial to everyones well being as is having some meaning and purpose in life. I very much look forward to leading and improving this charities outcomes in a very challenging financial climate”.
Joanna said, “I am very proud to be appointed as the Vice-Chair and I am excited at the idea of helping more people in Kent develop their skills and competencies. I am also very much forward to our Harvest Moon Gala Ball which will be a premium event in Canterbury and I hope become a yearly fixture.”
